Rituals for more positivity
Happiness. A broad understanding with a subjective implementation. Because.. what is happiness? And how do you become happy? What do you need to become happy? A nice family, a challenging job and a good income aren’t a guarantee for happiness. But.. what is? There is óne thing happy people have in common and that is a positive spirit. We have straightened out some tips and tricks for you.
Failure achieves growth
Failure ensures that you’re able to recognize and extend your own limits and know how you should handle your business in the future. Failure finally results in perfection. Never a failure, always a lesson.
Change is the thing that’s continuous
Don’t wrap your head around the old and familiar, this results in frustration and wastes the chance of new opportunities. Don’t fight change; if nothing ever chances we’ll find ourselves in a rut which has a negative influence on our mood.
Be mindful
Live in the moment and to the fullest. What happens, happens. What happened, happened and what will be, will be. By living in the moment you’ll be more aware of your surroundings and you’ll worry less about the future.
React and act conscious
We don’t control the situation or the other but we do control the way we react and act. Count to ten, think, and try to (re)act positive.
Seek like minded people
Surround yourself with people who have the same mindset as you. Of course, you don’t need to distance yourself from negative people in your environment but it’s easier to stay positive when your surroundings are.
Everyone is unique
When you open your social media channels, you’ll only see happy people and highlights. Don’t be fooled. On social media people only show what they want to show; the reality is probably different. Don't be misguided: comparing yourself with others is useless.
Healthy nutrition
The saying doesn’t exist with no reason; you are what you eat. Various studies show that sugar and fat have a negative influence on our body and mood. A little cheating sometimes is allowed but you should try to consume as many as possible vegetables, fruit and nutritious calories.
Award others with some of your time
‘All for one and one for all’ is a happening which is too common. Everyone has problems but there’s always someone who is having a harder time than you are. Offer some genuine attention and lighten up someone else’s day.
Be grateful
You don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Very cliché but nothing is less true. Cherish your loved ones, what you have and what you may experience. Count your blessings. Be aware of your luxury and thank others more often.
Happy time
A way to escape your daily routine is by planning a ‘happy moment’ for yourself. Take some minutes for yourself to do something you like every day. Even when you don’t have time. In this way you can relax and answer to your inner self.
Get started with these pillars. You’ll notice they have a positive effect on your mood.. and eventually make you feel happier.. Shine on!
